Rebate Processing

Efficiency Services Group (ESG) has been administering energy efficiency rebate programs for publicly owned utilities for over 20 years. For help with your own rebate programs, consider one or more of the following services offered by ESG:

  • Rebate Program Development: We work with utility staff to identify opportunities to help their customers, including energy-efficiency, water saving and electrification programs.
  • All Customer Sectors: We provide programs for residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
  • Program Evaluation: We will review your existing portfolio of programs and suggest options to bring value to your customers and help your utility meet its goals.
  • Rebate Application Forms: We develop and maintain rebate application forms, including online application forms to make applying for rebates hassle-free for your customers.
  • The Personal Touch: ESG staffs a hotline Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm that customers and contractors can call to discuss your programs and offers.
  • Rebate Application Review and Processing: Each application is carefully reviewed to assure all program requirements and specifications are met.
  • Data Storage: Program Data and documentation is maintained in ESG Digital, ESG’s custom-built database.
  • Reporting: We will provide you with Monthly Activity Reports and can partner with you to report to state and regional regulatory agencies, like Bonneville Power Administration and California Energy Commission.
  • Compliance: We capture the required data and documentation necessary to ensure compliance with utility and/or regulatory agency requirements.
  • Audits and Verifications:  ESG’s field staff can perform audits and verification, both on site and virtually.
