Since many Utility Pioneers are flying in for the conference, we’ve had folks ask for tips on how to get to Hood River.

Hood River is about an hour from the Portland International Airport (PDX). The easiest way to get to the conference is to rent a car. Visit Hood River has a list of other transportation options, including Uber, Lyft and the CatBus Columbia Gorge Express. If you opt for the bus, arm yourself with the maps and timetables before you arrive.

If you’d rather arm yourself with stories (wouldn’t we all?), we’re considering a shuttle between Portland’s airport to and from the conference. But first, we need to know if this is a shared need (it’s the co-op way).
