Libby Calnon

Libby Calnon is the general manager of Hood River Electric & Internet Co-op in Odell, Oregon, where her team of 22 provides electric & internet service to 3,600 members. She has 25 years in the utility industry, 20 of which were spent as a utility communicator. Her first degree was in technical journalism and psychology, and then she added a degree in human resources, an MBA, and a utility finance professional certificate.

She serves on the boards of Pioneer, Northwest Requirements Utilities, the Northwest Public Power Association, and the Public Power Council. When she’s not having fun with her team at work and serving members well, she loves growing dahlias, baking, and trying local wineries. She and her husband Rick have three goldendoodles, Allie, Bentley, and Link.
