In 1995, Matt Davison embarked on his newspaper career at The Bulletin in Bend, Oregon, igniting a lasting passion for the industry’s dynamic nature. Accumulating a quarter-century of expertise, he has held noteworthy positions at esteemed Northwest newspapers such as the Bulletin in Bend, OR, the Mail Tribune in Medford, Oregon, and the Daily Record in Ellensburg, WA. Notably, as the Regional Publisher & President at the Idaho Press since 2010, Davison orchestrated a remarkable expansion, propelling the Idaho Press to become the state’s largest newspaper. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he actively engages with the community, contributing to the Nampa Boys & Girls Club board, the Meridian Chamber of Commerce Board, and serving as the President of the Newspaper Association of Idaho. A Communications graduate from Western Oregon University, Matt, is a proud father of three daughters—Isabella (20), Emily (17), and Madelyn (14) and lives in Meridian, Idaho.
