Gene McCoy

Gene McCoy is an award-winning writer, communicator, and marketing strategist with more than 25 years of experience in the profession. As the current manager of marketing for Co-Mo Connect in Tipton, MO, Gene has exponentially increased brand awareness and broadband sales at the cooperative through his creativity, innovative marketing techniques, construction communications, and demographic analysis. In his five years at cooperative, Gene’s creative approaches to cooperative advertising have helped Co-Mo Connect become a “pink mohawk in a sea of buzz cuts” by applying entertainment principles to broadband promotional efforts. Gene especially enjoys working with other broadband marketers to help them find their unique voice and stand out in a crowded marketplace. However, Gene is most proud of being a devoted husband to his wife Leslee and a father to three wonderful children.
