NRECA 2014 Spotlight on Excellence Award Winner
Christine Stallard of Coos-Curry Electric (CCE), Oregon, worked closely with Pioneer Utility Resources Assistant Editor Mike Teegarden to design a 100-page book. The special publication celebrates Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative’s 75th anniversary.
Christine collected photos from the cooperative’s archives for several months. She arrived at Pioneer with a thumb drive full of photos and text that had been edited by several people, including Pioneer Utility Resources Associate Editor Jennifer Brown. The finished book contains historic photos and details the many stages of the cooperative through the decades. The books are available to Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative members for $5 and non-members for $15 (to cover the cost of printing).
