Fibee

Fibee is Tularosa Communications’ one-of-a-kind alien ambassador who crash-landed on Earth after accidentally colliding with a satellite.

Lost and far from home, Fibee was lucky enough to be discovered by Kevin, one of Tularosa Communications’ fiber splicers. Although they couldn’t understand each other at first, Fibee created a special link so they could communicate. He explained that he needed to let his family know he was safe.

Kevin knew exactly where to take him: Tularosa Communications!

There, Fibee discovered light-speed fiber optic technology and, to his delight, found a way to connect with his family. They were relieved to know he was safe and in good hands.

Since then, Fibee has made a home right here in New Mexico. Curious about Earth and fascinated by the people, places, traditions, and technology he has discovered along the way, Fibee quickly fell in love with his new community.

Today, he serves as Tularosa Communications’ community ambassador, helping spread the word about fiber, supporting local events and organizations, promoting cybersecurity education, and—most importantly—connecting with the community he now proudly calls home.

Fibee is also learning that Earth has some pretty amazing things—especially pistachios, his favorite snack! And when it comes to colors, he can’t choose just one. His favorites are green and orange, the colors that have become part of his signature look.

Fibee is especially grateful that, during his unexpected journey on Earth, he discovered something as incredible as fiber optic technology: a community that welcomed him and made him feel at home.

That’s why Fibee proudly represents “Speeds Out of This World!” Because for Fibee, it’s not just about how fast the internet can go. It’s about the incredible connections that speed makes possible—across town, across the country, and even across the galaxy.
