Splice is the official mascot of Peñasco Valley Telephone Cooperative and a proud Desert Bighorn Sheep, a species native to New Mexico’s rugged Hondo Valley. Known for resilience, adaptability and strength, Splice represents PVT’s promise to go where larger carriers won’t. Desert Bighorn Sheep are seen in valleys, up mountain slopes and across challenging terrain all across PVT’s service footprint. Splice represents PVT’s commitment to bring high-speed fiber to every member. Named by PVT Employees in a 2024 contest, he can be spotted at community events across Southeast New Mexico.
