Patrick Wood

Patrick Wood, CCC, has served as manager of communications for Co-Mo Connect in Tipton, MO, for six years, bringing what can only be politely described as a healthy amount of whimsy to the role. As an award-winning creative storyteller, Patrick has left his mark on everything from videos and social media to websites and even a comic book to engage audiences of all ages. Patrick’s recent illustrated book about the amazing world of electric cooperatives for kids is the latest in his creative repertoire, capturing his passion for storytelling and making complex topics fun.

Prior to his current role, Patrick cultivated his communication skills with the Missouri Department of Transportation and SSM Health Mid-MO, where he set new standards for communications and developed content and programs still used today. Patrick graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

While Patrick prides himself on his communications career, he is, first and foremost, a husband, father, and nerd.
